Welcome to World Of Wonder Day Nursery

— an independent, family-owned setting located in the heart of Runcorn, Cheshire.

  We invite families to step inside World of Wonder Day Nursery and experience the warmth of our setting for themselves. 


Located in Runcorn, Cheshire, our nursery has been thoughtfully renovated—opening January 2026—to provide calm, homely, and inspiring spaces where children feel safe, welcomed, and ready to explore. 


During your visit, our friendly team will guide you through our newly refurbished environment and share more about our approach, daily routines, and how we support each child’s individual journey.

As a family-run nursery with over 20 years of childcare experience, we are excited to introduce our new staff team, who bring fresh enthusiasm, genuine care, and a shared commitment to providing the highest quality early years education. We look forward to getting to know our families, building strong and lasting relationships, and creating a supportive, caring team culture that children can rely on every day.


Our newly renovated environment is calm, nurturing, and thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and independence. Through play-based, child-led learning, children are supported to follow their interests, build confidence, and grow at their own pace. Every space has been created with care to help children explore, discover, and flourish from the moment they arrive. At World of Wonder Day Nursery, children are truly at the heart of everything we do.

 Our mission is to provide a warm, homely, and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, cared for and truly valued. 

We want families to feel confident knowing their little ones are not only well supported, but also encouraged to PLAY, EXPLORE & DISCOVER .

THE STORY BEHIND WORLD OF WONDER DAY NURSERY

World of Wonder Day Nursery was created from the heart of our family, built on more than 20 years of experience owning and running a successful group of children’s day nurseries. After many years in early education, we chose to take a step back and explore something new—opening World of Wonder Playtime, our children’s role play village.


During this time, we welcomed local families, rediscovered our love for early years and strengthened our connections within the community. Being surrounded by imaginative play and enriching interactions - reminded us just how much purpose and fulfilment we find in supporting young children and their families. It confirmed what we had always known: childcare is where our passion truly lies.


Opening World of Wonder Day Nursery is the start of an exciting new chapter—one inspired by our experience, refreshed by our time at Playtime, and driven by a renewed commitment to giving children the very best start in life.


We are thrilled to welcome families into our fully renovated early years environment, thoughtfully designed to feel calm, homely and inspiring. Our aim is to create a place where parents feel completely confident entrusting their little ones to our team, and where children are supported to explore, discover and thrive every day.


With a dedicated team of practitioners who share our family values and passion for high-quality care, we are proud to offer a nurturing setting where every child can grow with confidence.
